Coaraze is a french commune in the Alpes-Maritimes in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nice and the Canton of Contes . Coaraze is a member of the Communauté de communes du Pays des Paillons . The residents call themselves Couraziens .

The neighboring municipalities are Duranus in the north, Lucéram in the east, Berre-les-Alpes , Contes and Bendejun in the south and Levens in the west.
