Lantosque (formerly Italian Lantosca ) is a French municipality with 1312 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the department of Alpes-Maritimes in the region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Nice and the canton of Tourrette-Levens . She is also a member of the Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur municipal association . The place is in the valley of the Vésubie .
