Saint-André-de-la- Roche (also: Saint-André-de-Nice ) is a French municipality with 5458 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Alpes-Maritimes in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d ' Azure ; it belongs to the Arrondissement of Nice , the Canton of Nice-7 and the Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur . The inhabitants are called Saint-Andréens .

Saint-André-de-la-Roche is located as a banlieue northeast of the city center of Nice on the Banquière river . Saint-André-de-la-Roche is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Tourrette-Levens in the north, Nice in the east, south and south-west and Falicon in the west.
