Berre-les-Alpes is a French commune in the Alpes-Maritimes in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nice and the Canton of Contes . Until December 22nd, 1997 it was officially called “Berre-des-Alpes”. The residents call themselves Berrois.
geography
The municipality is located in the French Maritime Alps and borders in the north-east on Lucéram , in the east on L'Escarène , in the south on Blausasc , in the west on Contes and in the north-west on Coaraze .
