Clans is a French commune in the Alpes-Maritimes in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur . It belongs to the Arrondissement of Nice , the Canton of Tourrette-Levens and the Métropole Nice Côte d'Azur . The residents call themselves Clansois.
geography
Clans is located in the French Maritime Alps on the Tinée River . The neighboring communities are Venanson in the northeast, Utelle in the east, La Tour in the southeast, Tournefort in the southwest, Bairols in the west and Ilonse (point of contact) and Marie in the northwest.
