The Broodstraat stadium was a football stadium in the Deurne district of the Belgian city ​​of Antwerp .

history

The Broodstraat stadium was the home ground of Royal Antwerp from 1908 , which it acquired after many venue changes and the increasing popularity of football. For the first time in the history of the club, a 32-meter-long grandstand with around 350 seats was built. In addition, another 5,000 spectators were able to watch the game around the field from several levels. During the 1920 Summer Olympics , the stadium was the venue for the soccer tournament . In 1923 the stadium was demolished and the Bosuil Stadium was built in the same place .
