Corsano is a south- east Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Lecce in the Apulia region .

Corsano has 5327 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2019). The municipality is located about 54 kilometers southeast of the provincial capital Lecce in southern Salento . It is a little less than three kilometers to the Ionian Sea .
