Aredo goes back to Greek colonization .

The station Seclì-Neviano-Aradeo serves the community by rail and lies on the railway line Novoli-Gagliano Leuca .

Attractions

The church of Santissima Annunziata was built in the 18th century instead of an older one and has a baroque main altar. Outside the historic center is the chapel of San Nicola di Myra, which was donated in the 16th century as thanks for hearing a request to the saint. The Palazzo Grassi is a noble palace from the 15th century.
