history

Menhir La Cupa 1
Menhir La Cupa 2

With the rule of the Normans, the rulers of the place changed very often. This was still the case until the end of feudalism in Italy in 1806. From an archaeological point of view, the two menhirs La Cupa (1 and 2) are of particular interest. These are 3.50 meters (La Cupa 2) and 3.90 meters (La Cupa 1) high columns with an almost square base (La Cupa 1: 0.4 m × 0.32 m; La Cupa 2 : 0.33 m × 0.33 m).
