The European Ice Hockey Cup in the 1974/75 season was the tenth edition of the competition of the same name by the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF . The competition began in September 1974; the final was played in February 1975. A total of 16 teams took part. Krylya Sovetov Moscow won the title for the first time.
Mode and participants
The national champions of the game year 1973/74 of the European members of the IIHF were qualified for the competition. The competition was played in the knockout system in a two-legged manner. The Soviet champion Krylja Sowetow Moscow and the Czechoslovakian champion ASD Dukla Jihlava were seeded for the semi-finals.
