Langscheid is a municipality in the Mayen-Koblenz district in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the community of Vordereifel , which has its administrative headquarters in Mayen .

geography

Langscheid is located in the eastern Hocheifel (Nitz-Nette forest) northwest of Mayen between Laacher See and Nürburgring on the southeast side of 555  m above sea level. NHN high Wabelsberg .
