Nora Marie Tschirner (born June 12, 1981 in East Berlin ) is a German actress , musician and former presenter .

Nora Tschirner was the daughter of the documentary - director Joachim Tschirner and radio - journalist Born Waltraud Tschirner. She grew up in the East Berlin district of Pankow and has several brothers and sisters. After primary school, she attended the Rosa-Luxemburg-Oberschule , where she graduated from high school in 2000 . At school she was involved in various theater groups. This not only helped her to participate in school theater competitions in Mühlhausen / Thuringia and Magdeburg , but also to her first TV role in 1997 in the ZDF children's series Achterbahn in the episode Der Ferienjob .

Tschirner is committed to developing countries and was a speaker at the Music & Messages music festival in Rostock , initiated by your voice against poverty . She actively supports the Tagwerk campaign .

Tschirner lives in Berlin and has one child.

Moderation

In 2001 she applied for a casting as a presenter and VJ at MTV Germany , and from April 2001 she worked for the station. In 2004 she and Christian Ulmen designed his show Ulmen's commission . In 2007 she hosted the First Steps Awards .

Tschirner began her acting career with a supporting role in Connie Walther's Wie Feuer und Flamme (2001) and the female lead in the ARD early evening series Sternenfänger (2002). In 2003 she played alongside Matthias Schweighöfer in a solo album , the film adaptation of Benjamin von Stuckrad-Barre 's novel of the same name . In the same year she made her theatrical stage debut at the Hamburger Schauspielhaus in Trainspotting . In 2005 she played in Anno Saul's Kebab Connection . She also had various supporting roles in several television series, including A Strong Team and Section 40 . She played the leading female role alongside Christian Ulmen in the film FC Venus - Attack is the best defense .

In 2006 she shot the science fiction series Ijon Tichy: Raumpilot for ZDF, a film adaptation of Stanisław Lem's star diaries , which was awarded the German Television Prize and nominated for the Grimme Prize. In 2007 she took on the role of Til Schweiger's counterpart in the very successful romantic comedy Keinohrhasen , which was released on December 20, 2007, and two years later in the sequel Zweiohrküken . For this she received a Bambi in the Film National category . In 2009 she was seen as the ladybug in episode 2472 of Sesame Street . In 2011 the second season of Ijon Tichy followed: Raumpilot .

Since Christmas 2013 Tschirner and Christian Ulmen have formed the team of investigators Lessing and Dorn in the MDR - Tatort from Weimar .

Director

She made her directorial debut in 2011 with Waiting Area , a documentary about four Ethiopian women. She also directed the two music videos Bis eine geht and Sophie Marceau in her band at the time, Prague .

Tschirner is on the album you're breaking my heart, then breaking 'I go to the legs of the band (2003) Olli Schulz & der Hund Marie in Skit Eternal Date and at the end of the song Kiss quickly before you see me bursting to hear. She can also be seen in the video for the single Secrets by the band OneRepublic .

The Tübingen band Randgruppencombo invited them to a guest appearance at their concert All or None - Tribute to Gerhard Gundermann on June 21, 2008. The concert recording was released on DVD by the Berlin music publisher BuschFunk .

From 2012 to 2015 Tschirner was a member of Erik Lautenschläger and Tom Krimi ( Stereo de Luxe ) in the band Prague , in which she played and sang guitar and other instruments.
