Radical 27 , meaning “ slope ”, “ cliff ” is one of 23 traditional radicals in Chinese writing that are written with two strokes. The sign is the Zhuyinzeichen [h] and the Cyrillic Г "g" similar .

The symbol 厂 is used today as a short symbol in the People's Republic of China (example: 工厂 = factory). The radical 厂 originally represented a rock overhang under which one can shelter.

In the past, 厂 was often exchanged with 广, not to be confused with the identical 广 (= far, wide; radical 53 ; short form of 広 or 廣).

radical 104 means “sickness”, and not
perhaps a cliff with 3 points .
