Rausdorf is a municipality in the north of the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia and part of the Hügelland / Täler administrative community .

history

Rausdorf goes back to a presumably Slavic settlement that was first mentioned on September 7, 1378 as Ruwinsdorf .

During the GDR era, VEB Pumpen- und Gebläsewerk Leipzig maintained the company holiday camp “ Philipp Müller ” for the children of its employees .

Freetime activities

Rausdorf has a new sports and leisure facility. In the spring of 2017, the Rausdorfer eV was founded, which deals, among other things, with the elderly and youth welfare as well as home care.
