The BMW C 600 Sport , from 2015 the BMW C 650 Sport is a scooter from the German motorcycle manufacturer BMW .

history

The C 600 Sport was presented to  the public for the first time together with its travel-oriented counterpart, the BMW C 650 GT, on November 10, 2011 at the EICMA 2011 in Milan .

The planned delivery in spring 2012 was delayed due to technical problems.

“During extreme maneuvers, the chain elongated that was outside of the specification. We narrowed the drivetrain in terms of tolerances and changed the engine setup accordingly. "

- Rudolf Probst : BMW motorcycle spokesman

From July 14, 2012 the first vehicles were delivered in Italy, Spain and France, and from July 21, 2012 also in Germany. All other European markets followed on July 28, 2012, the overseas markets were supplied from autumn 2012.

In 2015 the name was changed to BMW C 650 Sport and thus adapted to the sister model C 650 GT . At the same time, the CVT transmission was completely revised, which enabled significantly better acceleration.
