The Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint-Brieuc ( lat. : Dioecesis Briocensis ) is in France located Roman Catholic diocese , based in Saint-Brieuc .

history

The diocese of Saint-Brieuc was established in the 5th century and subordinated to the Archdiocese of Tours as a suffragan . On November 29, 1801 parts of the areas of the dioceses of Saint-Malo and Tréguier and the diocese of Dol were annexed to the diocese of Saint-Brieuc . The diocese of Saint-Brieuc was subordinated to the Archdiocese of Rennes as a suffragan on January 3, 1859 .
