Capriolo is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) in the province of Brescia in Lombardy . The municipality is located about 21 kilometers east-southeast of Bergamo and about 25 kilometers west-northwest of Brescia on the Oglio , three kilometers south of Lake Iseo . Capriolo borders directly on the province of Bergamo . The municipality is located east of the Parco dell'Oglio Nord in the Oglio Valley, at the same time the Monte Alto rises at 680 meters.

Economy and Transport

To Franciacorta and therefore also to the municipality belongs to the wine. The Capriolo is better known as a table wine. The traffic connection is via the former Strada Statale 469 Sebina Occidentale (today provincial road), which connects the western shore of Lake Iseo with the Autostrada A4 (Turin-Trieste) about 2.5 kilometers south of Capriolo. There is a stop on the non-electrified Palazzolo – Paratico railway line .

Sports

The women's soccer team ACF Brescia has been playing in Serie A in women's soccer since 2008 (as of 2011).
