The China Open 2015 was a women's tennis tournament as part of the WTA Tour 2015 in Beijing . The hard court tournament in the Premier Mandatory category took place from October 3rd to 11th, 2015. The semi-finalists of the Premier 5 tournament in Wuhan were automatically qualified for the second round.

The defending champions were Marija Sharapova in singles and Andrea Hlaváčková / Peng Shuai in doubles .
