English national cricket team against Pakistan in the 2009-10 season

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The English national cricket team's game series against Pakistan in the 2009/10 season took place in the United Arab Emirates from 19 to 20 February 2010 . The international cricket tour was part of the 2009/10 international cricket season and consisted of just two Twenty20s , one of which was won by Pakistan and one by England.

prehistory

For England this tour was a preparation for their tour in Bangladesh and the ICC World Twenty20 2010 in the West Indies in April. The games of the national teams were flanked by games of the reserve teams of the two nations. The authorities of the United Arab Emirates refused entry to the Pakistani bowler Mohammad Asif because he had been banned from entering the country in the past due to drug possession.
