The Galleryfurniture.com Challenge 2000 was the 15th edition of the tennis clay court tournament in Atlanta . The tournament was part of the male ATP series as the International Series tournament . It took place together with the Grand Prix Hassan II in Casablanca and the Estoril Open from April 10th to 16th, 2000. The prize pool for both singles and doubles was $ 350,000. In singles, 32 players competed against each other, in doubles there were 16 pairings. It was the only time Galleryfurniture.com appeared as the title sponsor.

The defending champion in the singles was Austrian Stefan Koubek , who placed second this year in the quarter-finals but failed against the eventual winner Andrew Ilie from Australia. Ilie won his only title of the season and the second and final title of his career at eight set .

In doubles, the South African Ellis Ferreira and Rick Leach from the United States, who were also top seed, won. They succeeded the two Americans Patrick Galbraith and Justin Gimelstob . Gimelstob reached the final at third with his new partner Mark Knowles , while Galbraith with Brian MacPhie at number four was left behind in the quarterfinals against the eventual winners. It was the third joint title of the season for Ferreira and Leach. It was career title number 15 for Ferreira and already the 40th for Leach.
