The Tennis Masters Series Paris 2000 was the 26th edition of the indoor tournament in Paris . As a Masters tournament, the tournament was part of the male ATP series and was the second indoor tournament of the season. It was the only Masters tournament that was played on carpet. The prize money for the single and double tournaments was $ 2,950,000. It took place from November 13 to 20, 2000 in the Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy , where 48 players competed against each other in singles and 24 pairings in doubles.

Defending champion in the singles was the American Andre Agassi , who did not participate this year. Instead, Marat Safin won his seventh individual win of the season , the second of which in the Masters series.

In doubles, the Swede Nicklas Kulti and the Belarusian Max Mirny succeeded last year's winners Sébastien Lareau and Alex O'Brien . Lareau did not participate that year, while O'Brien and his partner Jared Palmer made it to the semifinals. For Kulti it was already the fourth double success of the season - however, he achieved the other three with Mikael Tillström as partner - as well as the second Masters title of his career. For Mirny it was the third success of the season with changing partners and the first Masters title ever.
