Hellamaa is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Pühalepa ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).

Hellamaa (German Hellama ) has 65 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). It is 14 km southeast of the island's capital, Kärdla ( Kertel ).

The place was first mentioned in 1564/65 as Hellemäky . The place is located directly on the Baltic Sea . He gave the bay of Hellamaa ( Hellamaa laht ) on the east coast of Hiiumaas its name. In the bay is the 14.8 hectare island of Hellamaa rahu .

The village's landmark is a post windmill built in 1848 .
