Vanamõisa is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Emmaste ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).

Vanamõisa has nine residents (as of December 31, 2011). The place is near the Baltic coast .

Sanctuary in Vanamõisa Bay

Vanamõisa Bay ( Vanamõisa laht ) has been a protected area since 2005. Its aquatorium covers an area of ​​1482 hectares.

In addition to preserving the flora in the coastal area and on the small islands of the bay, the reserve serves as a refuge for birds such as teal , gray goose , Ruddy Turnstone , Barnacle Goose , Ringed Plover , eagles and redshank .
