Aadma is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Käina ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).

Aadma (German Ahdma ) has 29 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).

The place is 22 kilometers southwest of the island's capital Kärdla ( Kertel ). It was first mentioned in a document in 1565 as an infeed point .

In 1797 the Hofland was separated from the Putkaste ( Putkas ) manor . In 1797 Aadma became independent.

The manor house was built around 1800. It was a simple one-story wooden house. Today only the remains of a jacket chimney can be seen.

Alexandrine von Richter bought the estate in 1882. A little later it became the property of the von der Pahlen family . It was Beigut of Vaemla . In 1913 the estate belonged to the Baltic German Baron Gustav von der Pahlen. In 1919 it was expropriated as part of the Estonian land reform .

During the Soviet occupation of Estonia, Aadma was the center of the Ühendus collective farm (“community”).
