Lelu is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Käina ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).

Lelu (German Lello ) has 47 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011).

Between 1884 and 1886, as part of the Russification of Estonia, some local farmers converted to the Russian Orthodox faith. First, the services took place on the Matse talu farm belonging to Lelu . In the late 1880s was built on the territory of the village the Orthodox Assumption nativity church of Kuriste . Today it belongs to the village area of Taterma .
