Vilivalla (German Williwalla ) is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Pühalepa ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).

Description and history

Vilivalla has 12 inhabitants today (as of December 31, 2011). The village is located 11 kilometers southeast of the island's capital Kärdla (German Kertel ).

Vilivalla was a Beigut the manor Suuremõisa ( Grossenhof ). From the 17th century it belonged to Suuremõisa . In 1919, when it was expropriated as part of the Estonian land reform , the property fell to the Bauern-Agrar-Bank.

During the Soviet occupation of Estonia Vivivalla was the seat of Lenin's kolkhoz .
