Allika is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Käina ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).

Allika has 26 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). The place is north of the village of Käina .

Personalities

The most famous son of the place is the Estonian conductor Jaan Kääramees (1921–1968), who was born in Allika. From 1954 to 1958 he was director of the Estonia Concert and Opera House in Tallinn . Käramees directed the Estonian song festivals in 1950, 1955, 1960 and 1965.
