Lilbi (Hiiumaa)

Lilbi is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality Hiiumaa (2013 to 2017: rural municipality Hiiu , before that rural municipality Kõrgessaare ) on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ).

Description and history

Lilbi has five residents (as of December 31, 2011). The 17.8 km long Armioja stream flows near the village.

The name of the place probably comes from the male name Lüll, which was common on Hiiumaa in the 17th century .
