Le Manoir is a French municipality with 219 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the department of Calvados in the region Normandy (before 2016 Basse-Normandie ); it belongs to the Arrondissement of Bayeux and the canton of Bayeux (until 2015 Ryes ). The inhabitants are called Manériens .
geography
Le Manoir is about seven kilometers east-northeast of Bayeux near the Atlantic coast . Le Manoir is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Ryes in the north and north-west, Bazenville in the north, Villers-le-Sec in the east and south-east, Saint-Gabriel-Brécy in the south and south-east, Vienne-en-Bessin in the west and south-west and Sommervieu in the west and northwest.
