Meaning of the abbreviations and terms:
- symm. ... the logo of the sailing symbol is symmetrical on the sides. Mounted opaque on both sides of the sail or seen on one side and translucent in its original form.
- asymm. ... logo is asymmetrical on the side. (For fonts with at least one asymmetrical or italic letter, so often and therefore not mentioned.) If a translucent sail is also applied to the second side, then the view is retained and therefore at a different point on the sail surface - high-low-one above the other or next to each other (e.g. Platu 25).
- or. ... The sail sign is asymmetrical on the side and is mounted on the sail in relation to the stern-bow direction. On one side of the sail and thus already translucent in a suitable form or on the second side of the sail in a left-right mirrored form and covering with the logo on the other side.
- Manufacturer ... This symbol is the trademark of the manufacturer and not a symbol for a specific type of boat. Especially in the field of cruising yachts, no two boats are identical, so that a division into boat classes would also not make sense.
Remarks
- ↑ Blu 26 has a complex logo. The dark blue circular disc with 2 water droplets next to it is asymmetrical like the light text " blu 26 " placed over it (as a 2nd layer) . The drops of water (and the circle) are oriented towards the stern of the boat, i.e. mirrored and mounted so that they cover. The font, however, remains original. The circle as a dark background under the writing prevents the writing from showing through from the other side. The circle is laterally symmetrical and does not need to be mirrored in order to cover its opposite, but can also be viewed just as well as mirrored with the drops, since it does not change its shape. It can be seen as a symmetrical 3rd element of the logo.
