coat of arms
The municipal coat of arms has been used since July 1, 1989.
Blazon : "In a black shield sprinkled with golden vine leaves, a golden wolf."
The barons of Neuberg, whose castle is in the municipality, had a silver wolf in their coat of arms. Based on the golden linden leaves scattered over the shield in the coat of arms of the Counts von Herberstein and Barons von Neuberg, the wolf was reproduced in gold. The golden grape leaves indicate the old and now flourishing viticulture in the community.
