Naves is a commune in the French department of Nord in the region of Hauts-de-France . It belongs to the canton of Caudry in the Arrondissement of Cambrai . It borders on Thun-Saint-Martin to the northwest , Iwuy to the northeast, Rieux-en-Cambrésis to the east, Cagnoncles to the south and Escaudœuvres to the southwest . The residents call themselves Navois.
