Pradines

Pradines ( Pradinas in Occitan ) is a French municipality with 91 inhabitants (at January 1, 2017) in the Correze in the region Nouvelle-Aquitaine . The residents call themselves Pradinois (es).

geography

The municipality is located in the Massif Central on the Plateau de Millevaches and thus also in the Regional Nature Park Millevaches en Limousin and is traversed by the Corrèze de Pradines , a right tributary of the Corrèze , and the Douyge , which rises here.

Tulle , the prefecture of the département, is about 35 kilometers slightly southwest, Égletons about 17 kilometers southeast and Ussel about 50 kilometers northeast.

Neighboring communities of Pradines are Gourdon-Murat in the north, Bonnefond in the northeast, Grandsaigne in the southeast, Chaumeil in the south, Veix in the west and Lestards in the northwest.

The Lac de Viam is located about 15 kilometers slightly northwest of Grandsaigne.
