Stefano Sebastiani (born August 15, 1942 in Rome ) is a former Italian racing driver .

Career

Stefano Sebastiani could look back on a long career in sports car racing . Between his first international race, the 1970 Targa Florio , and his last start in the 6-hour race in Vallelunga in 2005, there were 35 years of active racing. He drove in the sports car world championship , the Interseries , for many years in the British Thundersports series , Italian sports car and GT championships and at the end of his career in the Le Mans Series . There were also reports in the European Touring Car Championship .

He achieved his two racing victories in the Thundersports series , where he won one race each in 1987 at Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit and 1989 at Brands Hatch . He competed three times in the Le Mans 24-hour race , but was never able to classify.
