The services of Weser-Egge-Bus GmbH & Co. KG were transferred to go.on Gesellschaft für Bus- und Eisenbahnverkehr mbH on August 1, 2020 .
history
The Weser-Egge-Bus GmbH & Co. KG was founded on June 7, 2014 by Bernhard Risse, Dieter Pollmann and Tobias Krefeld.
Shortly afterwards, since July 6th, the first two concessions were won. It concerns the line bundle 3 " Brakel ", which comprises eleven bus lines, and the line bundle 4 "Warburger Börde" with eight bus lines . Since there are all the main lines in the hourly down. With this timetable change , lines were also renamed for the first time. Line 580 between Brakel and Nieheim became the regional bus line R81, which is identified by the prefix "R". Line 550 became a regional bus line, the R55. The same thing happened in the Warburger Börde. Line 520 became the R52 and the 530 became the R35.
Two years later, on July 10, 2016, the next success came. Line bundle 9 “Nordkreis Höxter” with eleven lines and line bundle 11 “Wesertal” with five lines were added. Thus the company currently operates 35 lines in the entire Höxter district. Some changes were also made with the takeover. There, too, all the important lines now run every hour and changes to lines and their names have been made again. The former lines 576, between Bad Driburg and Sandebeck , and 581, between Steinheim and Grevenhagen , became line R76, which now runs between Bad Driburg and Steinheim . This also continues directly as line R75 to Nieheim, or comes from there. This connection has also been renamed. It previously had line number 575. Line 583 became line R83, line R91 was renamed at the time of the BahnBus Hochstift and divided into Vörden. In the triangle around Beverungen , line 220 between Höxter, Beverungen and Bad Karlshafen became regional bus line R22, and line 560 between Borgentreich , Beverungen and Lauenförde became R36.
Since it was no longer possible to provide the line services of line bundles 9 and 11 economically, the Weser-Egge-Bus was released from this on March 1, 2019. The compounds were however ensured by a Notvergabe and, after a decision of the transport network Paderborn / Hoxter continue through the (NPH) buses serving the Weser harrow bus. Instead, the period up to August 1, 2020 will be used to find an entrepreneur who will then take over the services of the two line bundles .
Since August 1, 2020, the services of the line bundles 3, 4, 9 and 11 have been transferred to the go.on company for bus and rail traffic , in which Pollmann Reisen and Risse Reisen were already shareholders and Reifers Reisen has joined as a partner.
Line network
The route network Weser-Egge-Bus GmbH & Co. KG is composed of ten regional bus lines, ten local bus routes , four city traffic , a citizen bus and ten school bus routes together.
