The Bundestag constituency Ostallgäu (constituency 257) is a constituency for the elections to the German Bundestag in Bavaria . It includes the independent cities of Kaufbeuren and Memmingen , the district of Ostallgäu as well as the cities of Bad Wörishofen and Mindelheim and the communities of Amberg , Apfeltrach , Bad Grönenbach , Benningen , Böhen , Buxheim , Dirlewang , Eppishausen , Ettringen , Hawangen , Holzgünz , Kirchheim i.Schw. , Kronburg , Lachen , Lautrach , Legau , Markt Rettenbach , Markt Wald , Memmingerberg , Ottobeuren , Rammingen , Sontheim , Stetten , Türkheim , Trunkelsberg , Tussenhausen , Ungerhausen , Unteregg , Wiedergeltingen , Wolfertschwenden and Woringen and the community-free area of Ungerhauser Wald in the Unterallgäu district . The predecessor constituency of the Ostallgäu constituency was the Bundestag constituency of Kaufbeuren from 1949 to 1976 .
