Burdignes is a French municipality with 368 inhabitants (as of January 1 2017) in the Loire department in the region of Auvergne Rhône-Alpes in Canton Le Pilat (2015: Canton Bourg-Argental ) and part of the municipal association Monts du Pilat . The municipality is part of the Pilat Regional Nature Park . The inhabitants are called Burdinands .

Burdignes is located about 23 kilometers south-southeast of Saint-Étienne . Burdignes is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Bourg-Argental in the north, Saint-Marcel-lès-Annonay in the north-east, Boulieu-lès-Annonay in the east, Annonay in the south-east, Vanosc in the south, Riotord in the south-west and Saint-Sauveur-en-Rue in the West.
