The Citroën Jumpy is a very light commercial vehicle that has been produced by Sevel Nord since 1995 . In Great Britain, Ireland and Australia the model is sold as Citroën Dispatch .
The first generation was developed by PSA Peugeot Citroën together with Fiat on the basis of the Eurovan (PSA / Fiat) , which is why the largely identical models Peugeot Expert and Fiat Scudo were created . In 2007 the 2nd generation appeared together with new sister models. This series was voted Van of the Year in 2008.
After Fiat announced that it would no longer participate in a new development and would only have the Fiat Scudo manufactured by PSA until mid-2016, PSA concluded a cooperation agreement with Toyota . This contract resulted in the Toyota Proace , published in 2013 by means of badge engineering . It was also agreed that PSA and Toyota would develop a joint successor model. These versions were presented in 2016 and have since been produced at the PSA plant in Valenciennes . For the first time there is now also a specially developed van version as the Citroën Spacetourer .

Box van
The second generation is available as a panel van in two heights and two lengths. While the shorter version measures around 4.81 meters and has a wheelbase of 3 meters, the longer version is 5.14 meters long and has a wheelbase of 3.12 meters. The height varies between 1.88 and 2.29 meters. All models are around 1.90 meters wide. The cargo space is between 5000 and 7000 liters. Four four- cylinder engines were available as drives for the panel van , including a petrol (2.0 16V) and three diesel engines (HDi 90, HDi 120 (FAP), HDi 165 FAP). All models are driven by the front wheels and have a 5-speed manual transmission (2.0 16V, HDi 90) or a 6-speed manual transmission (HDi 120 (FAP), HDi 165 FAP).
Station wagon
The station wagon was offered in the same lengths (4.81 m; 5.15 m); the wheelbases are also accordingly. The van version is flatter with a height between 1.88 and 1.98 meters. The engine range of the large-capacity van only includes the two more powerful diesel engine versions that were also offered in the panel van. These are 2.0 liter four-cylinder diesel engines with common rail injection with 88 kW or 120 kW and diesel soot particle filter (FAP). The weaker version meets the Euro 4 standard, the stronger already the Euro 5 standard. Power was also transmitted via the front wheels and a 6-speed manual transmission.
There were four equipment lines to choose from: the standard equipment Kombi , Kombi Confort , Kombi Club and Kombi Océanic . All lines except for the basic version have the option of painted bumpers and side mirrors as well as fog lights. The standard scope of delivery included ABS, ESP , ASR , a hydraulic brake assistant and airbags for the driver and front passenger.

The 3rd generation, which has been in production since 2016, was jointly developed by PSA and Toyota and is manufactured at the PSA plant in Valenciennes. With the Spacetourer, Citroën now offers a special van model just like Peugeot with the Traveler . This differs significantly in the materials used and the interior fittings.
The entire development took place under the project name KZéro. The van versions Citroën Jumpy, Peugeot Expert and Toyota ProAce were officially presented for the first time at the Birmingham Commercial Motor Show 2016 on March 30, 2016. The van versions SpaceTourer, Traveler and ProAce Verso were already presented on March 3, 2016 at the Geneva Motor Show 2016 presents.
In contrast to the van versions with two lengths, the Jumpy / Expert and ProAce versions are available in three lengths, each in two different heights. The crash tests by Euro NCAP, the series achieved five stars.
In May 2020, Citroën presented the model with the battery-electric drivetrain from the Peugeot 208 II . It will be delivered from October 2020.
