The tour of England's national cricket team to New Zealand in the 1987/88 season took place from February 12 to March 19, 1988. The international cricket tour was part of the 1987/88 international cricket season and included three tests and four ODIs . The test series ended in a 0–0 draw, the ODI series 2–2.

New Zealand previously played a three-nation tournament in Australia along with Australia and Sri Lanka , England played a tour in Australia . The last meeting of the two teams took place in England in the 1986 season .
