Hübner or Huebner is a family name.

Origin and meaning

The surname Hübner belongs with surname Hubner to the big names Family Huber . So they are related in name. It is derived from the term “ Hube ”, which was a unit of measurement for a piece of land. This in turn comes from the Middle High German word huobe . In this way, Hübner can be assigned to the family name with job title.
