Hartmut Strampe

Hartmut Strampe (born March 3, 1956 ) is a former German football referee .

Life

Strampe became a DFB referee for TSV Groß Hesebeck in 1986, and in 1990 he became a second division referee. Between 1991 and 2003 he directed 170 Bundesliga matches . During his first appearance on August 27, 1991 in the game between MSV Duisburg and Karlsruher SC (final score: 6: 2), he experienced something historic. Michael Tönnies from Duisburg achieved the fastest hat trick in Bundesliga history. In 1998, Strampe headed the DFB Cup final , which FC Bayern Munich won 2-1 against MSV Duisburg.

From 1993 to 2001, as FIFA referee , he was in charge of 17 international matches and 32 European Cup matches.

Strampe is an administrative officer, married and has three children. He lives in Handorf .

On April 7, 2001 Strampe secured two Bundesliga records in the Bundesliga match between Borussia Dortmund and FC Bayern Munich (1: 1). On the one hand, ten players from a team saw a card there for the first time (Bayern Munich). On the other hand, the total number of cards dealt in the game, namely 13 (10 × yellow, 1 × yellow-red, 2 × red) was also a record.

The Hartmut Strampe brigade, stylistically based on the ultra movement , was founded in 2015 and travels through the stadiums, from the Oberliga to the Bundesliga, to cheer and support the respective referees. This grouping was initiated by employees of the soccer magazine 11Freunde .
