IBSF World Snooker Championship 1984

The 1984 IBSF World Snooker Championship was the eleventh edition of the World Amateur Snooker Championship . It took place at the Grand Hotel in Malahide , Ireland . World champion was the Indian Omprakesh Agrawal with a 11: 7 win in the final against the Welsh Terry Parsons .

mode

The 41 participating players were divided into four groups in which they competed against each other in round robin mode . The top two in each group qualified for the final round, which was played out in the knockout system .
