The Knox County is a county in the US -amerikanischen State Missouri . In 2010 , the county had 4,131 residents and a population density of 3.2 people per square kilometer. The county seat is Edina , which was named after the city of Edinburgh in Scotland .

Knox County was formed in 1845. It was named after Henry Knox (1750-1806), the first US Secretary of War from 1789 to 1794.

According to the 2010 census , Knox County had 4,131 people in 1,746 households. The population density was 3.2 people per square kilometer. Statistically, 2.28 people lived in each of the 1746 households.
