Nõmme (Hiiumaa)

Nõmme is a village ( Estonian küla ) in the rural municipality of Hiiumaa (until 2017: rural municipality Käina ). It is located on the second largest Estonian island Hiiumaa (German Dagö ). Nõmme is not to be confused with Reigi-Nõmme , which is also on Hiiumaa Island and was called Nõmme until 2017.

Nõmme (German Nömme ) has 62 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2011). The village is located northwest of the village of Käina ( Keinis ).
The place was mentioned in 1611 as a Neme .
