Michel Jean Frédéric Salesse (born January 3, 1955 in Algiers , Algeria ) is a former French sword fencer .
successes
Michel Salesse was world champion with the team in Rome in 1982 and in Vienna in 1983 . He took part in two Olympic Games . At the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow he reached the final unbeaten with the French team, in which Poland was defeated 8: 4. Together with Philippe Boisse , Patrick Picot , Philippe Riboud and Hubert Gardas , Salesse became Olympic champion . In 1984 he moved with the team again in the battle for gold, in which France was defeated by the team of the Federal Republic of Germany 5-8. In addition to Salesse, Philippe Boisse, Jean-Michel Henry , Olivier Lenglet and Philippe Riboud received silver.
