Schwarzenbach is located northwest of Lindlar , surrounded by the large loop of the former railway body. The place is divided into Ober- and Unterschwarzenbach . Neighboring towns are Merlenbach , Falkenhof , Lingenbach and Schätzmühle .
history
In 1534 the place was first mentioned in the "Brotherhood Book of the Marienbruderschaft". The spelling of the first mention at that time was Swartzen . It is known that in 1830 Schwarzenbach had 17 inhabitants. In 1927, lighting was purchased for the level crossing in Schwarzenbach. In 1937 a “female labor service” camp was set up in Schwarzenbach.
