The hamlet of Oberlichtinghagen is a district of the municipality of Lindlar in the Oberbergisches Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Oberlichtinghagen is located northeast of Lindlar in the northeast of Scheel . Other neighboring towns are Unterlichtinghagen , Zäunchen and the municipality of Marienheide belonging Leiberg . A tributary of the Scheelbach, which flows into the Leppe, rises in the south of the village .

history

In 1413 Oberlichtinghagen was mentioned for the first time as "Lichtinckhaen" in a combing register of the Frohnhof Lindlar. In the Topographia Ducatus Montani from 1715, “o. Lichtinghag ” with two courtyards. The map topographical recording of the Rhineland from 1824 shows the place in a delimited courtyard with 5 separate building plans.
