The Hofschaft Müllersommer is a district of the municipality of Lindlar , Oberbergischer Kreis , in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Müllersommer is located west of Lindlar on the border with the municipality of Kürten in the valley of the Ommerbach, which flows into the Lindlar Sülz . Neighboring towns are Frangenberg , Linde , Unterkotten and Unterbersten, which belongs to the municipality of Kürten .

The place was mentioned for the first time in 1413 as an oemer .

In the map Topographischeaufnahme der Rheinlande from 1824, “Müller's Ommer” is shown on a delimited courtyard with nine separate building floor plans and a mill symbol. The map of Prussian first recording from 1844 designates the place with "In der Mühlers Ommer" . The current spelling, Müller's summer, is used in topographic maps from 1893 onwards. In 1939, the mill symbol was shown for the last time on topographic maps.
