Location and description

Unterbüschem is located north of Lindlar , between Aboss (Wipperfürth) and Kapellensüng on the municipal border to Wipperfürth. The Büschemer Bach flows past the village .

Büschem was first mentioned in a document as Buchshem in 1318 . In the "Topographical-Statistical Description of the Royal Prussian Rhine Province" it was noted in 1830: "Unter-Büschem with 45 [inhabitants]".
