The Hofstelle Berghäuschen is a district of the municipality of Lindlar , Oberbergischen Kreis in the administrative district of Cologne in North Rhine-Westphalia ( Germany ).

Location and description

Berghäuschen is located in the north of Lindlar, exactly on the city limits of Wipperfürth, one kilometer east of Breun in the Bergisches Land Nature Park . The place is connected by telephone via the city of Wipperfürth. In terms of post, the place has belonged to Lindlar since 2010, before that it also belonged to Wipperfürth. The neighboring villages of Dörrenbach , Bühlstahl , Oberkemmerich and Niederkemmerich are on the Wipperfürth side .

The Hofschaft is connected via an access road that branches off from Landesstraße 302 at Bühlstahl and also connects the other neighboring towns. Berghäuschen can also be reached via the Berghäuschenweg access road, which branches off in Breun.

The Vogelberg rises to the south of the Hofschaft at 323.2 meters.

history

The exact dating of the origin of this court is difficult. However, it can be seen as proven that the first settlement took place together with the neighboring town of Breun. The first settlement took place from Fronhof Lindlar. The first clearing work was followed by the creation of isolated farms, most of which still exist today. The maid Wilhelmine Siemerkus , who is said to have lived in Berghäuschen in 1851, gives an indication of the settlement date .

The place is recorded on the topographical survey of the Rhineland from 1825 as a mountain house . The Prussian first recording from 1840 shows the residential area under the name Am Berghäuschen . From the Prussian new admission of 1894/96, the place is regularly recorded on the measuring table as a mountain house .

In 1822 five people lived in the place categorized as a house, which after the collapse of the Napoleonic administration and its replacement, belonged to the Lindlar mayor in the Wipperfürth district . For the year 1830, together with Dörl, Eremitage, Falkenhof, the rear Falkenhof, Clause and Frauenhaus, 57 inhabitants are given for Berghäuschen . The place, which was categorized as an isolated house in 1845 according to the overview of the government district of Cologne , had a residential building with six residents at that time, all of whom were Catholic. The municipal and Gutbezirksstatistik the Rhine Province leads vineyard cottage 1871 with a dwelling house and ten inhabitants. In the municipality encyclopedia for the Rhineland province from 1888, a house with 13 inhabitants is given for mountain cottages . In 1895 the place had a house with five inhabitants and belonged denominationally to the Catholic parish of Frielingsdorf , in 1905 a house and five inhabitants are also given, but now belonged to the Catholic parish of Süng .

The starting point for a hike from Berghäuschen is the neighboring village of Bühlstahl. The A 2 circular hiking trail runs through Bühlstahl and continues from there to Oberbrochhagen and Frielingsdorf . From there it runs east of Niederhabbach past, on to Unterlichtinghagen , Oberhabbach and back to Bühlstahl. In total, this circular route has a length of 8.2 kilometers.
